Quilts of Valor

Military veterans at the Rosebud Heritage House received a Quilt of Valor on April 25. Receiving the honor were Army veterans Rudolph Marek, who served from 1955-1957, Charles Ahrent (1964-1965) and Aubrey Whidden (1969-1971). Beverly Crocker, representing the Quilt of Valor organization, presented certificates while Judy Smith and Rita Burris wrapped quilts around each veteran. The quilts were handmade by Sharing Bee Quilters of Rosebud.
